Abalone by GMA is a Technology-Based company, belonging to the aquaculture sector, focused on the development and cultivation of high-end abalones (Haliotis Discus Hannai) aimed at international markets. GMA´s goal is to become the First European intensive culture producer of premium quality gastropod mollusk: the Japanese abalone (Ezo Awavi, Haliotis discus hannai). We carry out the breeding in Galician waters, located in the estuary of Muros-Noia, in A Coruña, Spain. Its excellent location on the Atlantic Coast offers, among other advantages, a wide variety of marine resources, key logistics infrastructure and plenty of nearby internationally-certified companies engaged in the processing of fishery products and aquaculture. The privileged quality of the waters of Galicia is the secret that allows us to obtain the best abalone.   Our 25,000 m2 plant is located at the edge of the Ría of Muros-Noia, A Coruña. The world's second largest plant, designed with a business philosophy based on sustainability.
